Cecchetti International Ballet Competition

Congratulations to Nathaniel Orlov-Mayer for placing in the top 8 at the Cecchetti International Ballet Competition (CICB) held Summer of 2024. The competition was hosted by the Cecchetti Council of America in Detroit, MI and dancers from Cecchetti organizations across the globe participated. Nathaniel is an alum of Dance Center Evanston and was coached by Rosina DeVries, DFCCA and Bea Rashid, DFCCA.

Previous CICB participants from the Midwest Committee include Olivia Mitchell (competed in Florence, Italy in 2017) and Isabelle Glavin (competed in Richmond, Virginia in 2014)
